Sponsorship Scheme
Sponsor's Functions
2022-07-30    :   Nagomi Pastel Art with the Home’s Children

This was the first sponsor’s function of the year held on July 30 with an attendance of about 40 sponsors and their families. They were happy to learn more about the Home through service video broadcast, QA game as well as the Home’s old boy and Love Ambassador Jason Chan’s personal sharing.

Small Group Homes’ children took charge of the QA game as MCs to review the Home’s history and services with the participants. Afterwards, Jason was accompanied by his daughter Abigail to recall his good old days at the Home and promote “Lok-lok” & “Yiu-yiu” Sponsorship Scheme in hopes of nurturing Abi’s kind heart at an early age.

“Seeing so many parents attending with their children today, it’s indeed important for us to set good examples for the younger generation. I also encourage Abi to care about the people around by action no matter how small it is,” said Jason, “With the support of you all, I wish more children can be as blessed as I was living at the Home.”

The spotlight was then turned on Nagomi Pastel Art. With the theme of love and hope, participants followed the instructor to create their artworks together with the Home’s children. The fun went on as they brought home not only their drawings but also the art supplies to practice.

“Thank you for organizing this meaningful event. Miles had a great time! It was his first time doing this kind of painting and he loved it. It was very thoughtful that the children can take the materials home with them,” said Elaine, the Little Sponsor Miles' mother.
